It’s a great question: How Much Can you Earn in a Home Party Business?
There are several streams of income.
First – you can earn at your parties.
The amount of money you earn at any given party will depend upon several factors — everything from the number of guests who attend, the price points of your products, the ability to promote “add-on” sales, specials that your company might be running, and outside orders collected by your hostess – to name just a few.
Keep in mind that most home party consultants will go through a learning curve. It’s natural – so don’t worry.
Once you have a few parties completed, then you can start to focus on ways to increase your sales from every single party that you do.
These are all skills that anyone – yes anyone – can master.
Increase how much you can earn in a home party business by mastering hostess coaching!
Your hostess is technically your “business partner” for the evening – and she plays a vital role.
If you were hiring a new employee at work, you wouldn’t just show her the desk and say “there you go – get to work.”
The same is true with your hostess. Learn to master your hostess coaching skills and it will impact your sales, and in turn your profits, at every party.
Fine-tune your party presentation.
Another way you can impact how much you earn in a home party business is by practicing and improving your presentation. When you get your guests engaged, and when you not only explain the features of the products, but you explain the benefits and share stories about people using and enjoying your products; you’ll sell more.
I’m always reminded of my friend who was, what I will fondly refer to as, “the tote jacket queen.”
Her company sold this fun jacket that folded up and zipped into a bag. She loved that item. She wore it everywhere, told stories of it coming in handy in unpredictable weather, she put it on, she zipped it up, she showed it with the hood up, and she talked about how much she could store in the pockets. When she got done, every person in the room “needed” one of those jackets. She sold 3 or 4 at every single party – where most consultants sold three or four every year.
Master your closing table skills
Learning how to work your closing table well is another way to impact how much you can earn in a home party business.
That’s where you can sell, sell more, sell even more (then book parties and talk to business prospects, but more about that later).
Build an Organization
The beauty of the home party business is you can increase your income by “cloning yourself” meaning you sponsor consultants – people just like you – and earn commissions from each party that they hold.
Let’s say that you personally hold 8 parties per month.
What if you sponsor 10 consultants who do exactly the same thing? That would mean you can earn commissions on another 80 parties held during the month.
You’ll want to check your company’s compensation plan for all the details – but this can start to build into some serious commissions each month.
As you can see the sky’s the limit. Set an income goal – and map out your plan to achieve it.
